Ines Simoes competes for Sport Newark Benfica. In 2003 she has had an outstanding year already and her favorite sport (cross country ) is just starting. Ines was the AAU national Champion this year in the 1500m and she was second in the USATF National Junior Olympics 1500m. Ines is ranked number four in the nation in the 1500m (5:13). She has also run a 2:40.38 800m, and a 1:13.84 400m. Look for her in New Mexico for the USATF National Cross Country Championships.
