Casey Taylor is our final athlete of the year selection for 2003. Casey
participates on the Fair Haven, NJ Recreation Track and Cross Country Team. Until this fall, he was like millions of other
young athletes who have never competed in track or cross country but have the talent to be outstanding runners.
Casey is an outstanding athlete and has superior skills in all sports he has
tried. In addition to his new sport (cross Country), Casey excells in baseball, basketball, and soccer. His greatest passion
to this point has been soccer but he found a second love in cross country.
In his first meet Casey placed 10th out of about 200 competitors and he won all
of his competitions for the remainder of the year. He is looking forward to outdoor track this spring and will concentrate
on the 800m and 1500m and the multi-events. Good luck and have a great season.
